Auckland Movers & Storage offers competitive rates for a high quality furniture removal service. We operate on an hourly rate within Auckland which commences when the movers arrive at your pick up address and finishes when the movers complete unloading at your last delivery address, the below rates are for moves completed between Monday to Saturday, for Sunday and Public Holidays add $40 per hour. The only other charge is a call out fee which ranges from $75 to $95 depending on addresses.

Large Moving Truck (60m3)

The Auckland Movers large trucks are our 60m3 removal trucks and come with three professional furniture movers. These trucks are fully equipped with everything necessary for an efficient furniture removal including trolleys, protection blankets, ties, hand trucks. This fleet of trucks is ideal for commercial and office relocations, out of town furniture removals or large homes over four bedrooms.

Extras
Additional Removalist
To add an additional removalist to your move it is an extra $40 per hour. This is a great way to speed up a removal and also recommended if you have any particularly heavy items.
Oversized Items
Oversized/Overweight items incur an additional surcharge and can sometimes also require a third mover. Please let the office know at the time of booking if you have a piano, double door fridge, Marble tabletop, Front loader washing machine, Treadmill, Rowing Machine, Pool table, Spa pool, Trampoline or any other items over 60kgs.
Moving out of Auckland?
For removals outside of Auckland, the hourly rate is only used for loading and unloading then changes to a transit charge of $3.50 per kilometre. The transit charge is calculated from and back to our nearest Auckland border (Albany, Takanini, Somerville, Henderson).
Insurance
All removals are at the owner’s risk. This means no compensation will be paid for any losses, damages, or shortages. It is acknowledged, agreed, and declared that the Contract of Carriage evidenced hereby is a Contract for Carriage at the owner’s risk. This means that the company as the carrier will pay no compensation if the goods are lost or damaged unless the company intentionally loses or damages them.

Cover A
If the goods are packed and transported by Auckland Movers then this cover option is available and will provide the following cover.
- Covered for Accidental damage by the movers
- Covered for deliberate damage caused by the Third Party/movers
- And also covers for all the damage which Cover B provides below
Cover B
This cover will only apply and will always apply if the goods are packed by the owner themselves and not by a professional mover.
- Fire, explosion, lighting or flood
- If the truck is involved in an accident and strikes another object
- If the Truck rolls or turns over
